Editorial Policy
This policy explains how teaching cases are selected, prepared and reviewed on RadLearn.
1. Sourcing
Cases are drawn from openly licensed teaching collections. The source is recorded on every case page. Where a licence requires attribution, it is preserved.
2. Language
All content is written in British English and uses standard radiology terminology (BI-RADS descriptors, modality names, and conventional reporting terms). Spellings are normalised to British usage throughout.
3. Review
Each published case is checked by the editorial team for: (a) internal consistency between the history, findings and final diagnosis; (b) a differential list that does not include the confirmed diagnosis itself; and (c) a specific discriminating feature for every alternative diagnosis.
4. Corrections
If you spot an error, please contact us. Corrections are applied to the case page and the “last updated” date is refreshed.
5. Assistance disclosure
Translation and drafting are assisted by automated tools, but every case is reviewed by a human editor before publication. Nothing on this site is a substitute for professional clinical judgement — see the medical disclaimer.
